whew... long time since an upload, yes? well i can't really call this one 100% new... i kinda drew it back a few months ago after i had just watched the whole avatar series (which is so freakin' AMAZING, btw! i highly recommend it). and naturally just with any series i watch/read i find a pairing to interest me... and in this case it just happened to be zuko/katara. then i discovered that there's tons of other people who also ship the pairing, so for once i don't feel like some weird freak who only likes odd pairings.
i haven't done anything else avatar-related since then, though. i just found this sketch sitting in my sketchbook when i went through it, and was quite fond of it so i didn't want to just let it sit there and go to waste. so i scanned it in, fixed it up, and colored it in. the original sketch didn't have the background, but i really do want to get better at drawing them so the only way to do that is practice... usually i'm too lazy to put it in but with this one i thought it would just look so much better with one.
anyway, not much else to say... up until now i had this really weird artist's block, but i think it may be over now. because even after finishing this i still have the inspiration to draw more (not for this series though...), so i'm just hoping the feeling won't die out on me again.
so, to all other zutara fans out there, here you go! i hope you like it.
